The one distinction
Ask one question: will this address appear on the company's registration with ARBK, the Kosovo Business Registration Agency? If yes, you need a registered business address. If the address is only for correspondence, the website and invoices, a business address is enough.
Everything else follows from that answer: the price, the documents the provider must collect from you, the term of the agreement, and what the provider has to do when the post arrives.
When a business address is the right buy
- Your company is registered abroad and trades with Kosovo without a local entity. You want a Prishtina address on quotations and a place for local post.
- You are a consultant or a remote team working from home in Kosovo and you do not want home on your invoices.
- You are testing the market before deciding whether to register a company at all.
At Artana there is no correspondence-only product. Both plans, from €2.50 a day plus taxes, are registered addresses, so a company that only needs an address for its letterhead gets the registration with it, and keeps it if it later forms a Kosovo company. Post is received at a staffed reception and you are told the same day. Elsewhere, check before you pay: a correspondence-only address cannot be used to register a company.
When you need the registered business address
- You are forming a Kosovo company, an SH.P.K. or a branch, and the registration form asks for the seat.
- Your Kosovo company exists and its registered address is a lawyer's office, a flat or an address you are leaving.
- A bank, a customer or a tender asks for proof of a real registered address in Kosovo.
At Artana this is either plan: the registered address at €2.50 a day plus taxes, invoiced at €75 a month, or €3 a day with forwarding and scan to email, invoiced at €90. Both include the part that matters to the register: our signed consent to the address being filed as your company's seat with ARBK and the tax administration, issued within five business days of the agreement, the payment and the identity check.
What "registered seat" actually means
The registered address is where official and court documents are deemed served on the company. That is why the law cares who provides it, why the provider must know who the owners are, and why the address has to be real: a building where a person receives post, not a letterbox. It is also why a change of registered address is a filing, not an email. When you move, you file the new address with ARBK with the new provider's consent, inside the deadline the register sets, and you tell the bank and the tax administration the same week.
The identity check, in one paragraph
A provider of registered addresses is a reporting entity under Kosovo's anti money laundering law. Before it issues the consent letter it must identify every owner of 25 percent or more, with a passport copy and a recent proof of address, check the company against an independent register, and keep the record. For a company that does not yet exist, the founder or the parent signs first and the consent follows once the checks are done. Expect this from any serious provider. Its absence is the warning sign.
If you take a desk instead
A member who holds a dedicated desk at Artana works at the address, so registering the company there comes with the membership rather than as a separate address fee. For a one person company that will be in Prishtina most of the time, a desk at €125 a month can therefore be the better buy than the address alone at €75: you get the seat, the post handling and a place to sit. For a company with nobody in Kosovo yet, the registered address is the product.
The prices, side by side
- Registered address: €2.50 a day plus taxes, invoiced at €75 a month. Filed with ARBK and the tax administration, consent letter included, post received and notified.
- Registered address and mail handling: €3 a day plus taxes, invoiced at €90 a month. Adds forwarding to any address and scan to email.
- Dedicated desk: from €125 a month, all inclusive, with the address as part of the membership.
Neither plan includes company formation, accounting, tax representation or bank account opening, and both are quoted excluding taxes. If you are still unsure what you need, say so in the enquiry and we will tell you, before you pay for anything.
Common questions.
- Can I register my company at an Artana address?
- Yes. Both Artana plans are registered addresses: the provider's written consent for the ARBK filing is included, after the identity check. Elsewhere, check first: a correspondence-only address cannot be used for registration.
- I already have a registered address at my lawyer's office. Can I switch?
- Yes. A change of registered address is filed with ARBK with the new provider's consent letter. Do it within the deadline the register sets for address changes, and tell your bank and the tax administration the same week.
- Does a dedicated desk include a registered address?
- A member who takes a desk at Artana genuinely works at the address, so registering the company there comes with the membership rather than as a separate address fee. A company without a desk takes either address plan.
- What does it cost in 2026?
- At Artana the registered address is €2.50 a day plus taxes, invoiced at €75 a month, or €3 a day with forwarding and scan to email, invoiced at €90 a month. Neither includes company formation, accounting or banking.
